2021 Ford Ranger

The 2021 Ford Ranger is the best mid-size pickup trucks in the US market. As it is available with an open bed, it is most suitable for lugging around equipment, and the truck can be easily maneuvered across urban streets.

In its segment, the 2021 Ford Ranger competes against the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado, Nissan Frontier, and the GMC Canyon Twins.

Trims available for purchase:

Potential buyers for the 2021 Ford Ranger will have to carefully look at one of the three trim levels and take their picks:

All Ranger models come with a high-strength steel frame and frame-mounted steel bumpers, giving it the capability to take on virtually any adventure. Customers will have Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and 4 Wheel Drive (4WD) configurations to choose from.

Engine Specifications and Performance

The 2021 Ford Ranger gets a single engine option, which is a 2.3 liter turbocharged EcoBoost® powertrain that belts out 270 hp of power and 310 lbs.-ft of torque. This engine has been mated to Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Torque available here is high for a mid-size pickup truck. Also, Ford has come up with a Terrain Management System for all off-road enthusiasts. This system has been made available on the special Tremor and FX4 off-road packages.

Muscular Exterior Design:

From the front, customers will get to see muscles in the form of large bulges on two sides of the hood. Halogen bulbs are available for the 2021 Ford Ranger XLT. The center of the front grille gets Ford’s characteristic blue logo.

The new Ranger sits on all-season tires with 17-inch wheels. There are very few bulges on the side, leading to an uncomplicated design on the side. A Black appearance package which adds 18 inch wheels, a new front grille, new bedside decals, and black Ford oval badges is available.

Bed lining is optional on this vehicle, and it comes with a towing capacity of 7000 lbs. and a payload capacity of 1500 lbs. Massive taillights are present at the rear.

Comfortable Interior:

Expect to find a partially power adjustable driver’s seat on the 2021 Ford Ranger. The door handles and the steering wheel receive soft touch materials. Seats are most comfortable in this SUV and get cloth upholstery. All seats have a decent amount of Legroom. A 12V power outlet and 2 USB ports are in place for the second row passengers, and a rear armrest with cup holders is also here.

The base XL trim gets a four-speaker AM/FM stereo and wireless connectivity. However, higher trims are available with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SiriusXM satellite radio, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. A 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and an integrated navigation system are also offered.

The trick gets digital information in the center of the gauge instrument cluster. The 2021 Ford Ranger also receives a backup camera. All Rangers are available either as crew cabs or as extended cabs.
